Elopement Wedding Venue in Pembrokeshire, Wales

About Nantwen

A Private Elopement Venue in the Heart of Pembrokeshire

Nantwen is one of Wales's most popular elopement wedding venues — a secluded, romantic cottage nestled within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, near Newport. Whether you're dreaming of a secret ceremony for two or a tiny wedding with your loved ones, Nantwen offers a truly private and personal setting unlike any other.

Elope with just the two of you and let us provide the witnesses, or invite a small gathering of guests to share in the moment. The choice is entirely yours. Set at the end of a long private track with sweeping views over open meadows, a wooded valley, and easy access to the Welsh coast and the Preseli Mountains, Nantwen is as breathtaking as the occasion calls for.

We've been hosting elopements and intimate weddings for many years. Nantwen is discreet, personal, and unforgettable.

Nantwen warmly welcomes everyone. Whatever your religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, race, disability, marital status, or background — you belong here. We are proud to host inclusive, accessible, and respectful weddings for all couples.

The cottage sleeps up to five guests across three bedrooms, and we can accommodate additional guests for the ceremony, children, and dogs. We maintain a curated list of trusted local suppliers including florists, caterers, cake makers, photographers, make-up artists and hairdressers.

You'll need to arrange a Pembrokeshire registrar to attend and legally register your marriage — see the current registrar fees here. In the rare event your chosen registrar isn't available, we'll simply move your booking to another suitable date. We accept payment by card, bank transfer, or instalments.
